HIKING
Trekking on the peninsula is probably best done in the fall and winter when there are fewer insects. Many of our state and national parks have trail systems that are perfect for anyone who wants a leisurely hike with the opportunity to see some of our beautiful bird population.

Surfing has been a long-time favorite of the locals. And, surfers have been steadfast partners in the effort to protect our environment.
